In snake breeding(i know, pretty irrelevant), a 1 degree change in temperature determines the difference between regular and albino offspring...possible environmental factors...
I really don't think its environmental. I rarely get misbars and this clown is raised identical to thousands upon thousands before hand.
Just wondering though.
When Ocellaris host in certain corals they tend to get dark spots to the point that they can get a ruddy orange color. I wonder if this chemical change in these clowns is genetic mutation. Maybe this clown has a chemical imbalance in his genetics causing the black spotting effect to be prevalent without any outside influences.
With all this talk of imbalances, is there any reason to think he won't be able to live a full and happy life? I know they're not people (so says science, but I disagree ), but when people end up with hormonal or chemical imbalances, it sometimes has some fairly serious effects later on in life.
Is this possible with clowns, or is he more likely to be a-okay?
