Well we woke up this morning at 620 to the sound of nothing. We then realized there was no power. We ran to see the tanks and waves through 20 gallons of water. The 175 lost about 5 gallons (thank god for a large sump) and 15 gallons in the 90 gallon. The power was off for about 3 hours. But the savior of the day was the power generators. This was the best investment of the day. We were able to plug in the Tunzes in the front, the seios in the back and the aquapod with no problem. We were even able to plug in powerheads to mix saltwater.
We learned that it had been about 20 minutes from the time the power went out and the time we were able to kick on the generator but too late to stop the water from over flowing.
So for those who can, invest in a generator. Its well worth it.
