I just made the stupidest mistake. I plumbed teh overflows, got the sump filled. Started the pump. Ran upstairs.... I plumped the feed to the pipes that should be the returns, and vice versa.... AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Ah well.. I guess tomorrow evening goes toward switching that....

That had to be interesting. Atleast the tank isn't full of livestock...Right? I had a plumbing issue when I moved my 180. The guy helping me told me he tightend the 4 bulkheads on the tank....Well he was wrong I put 20-30 gallons of saltwater on my carpet before I could get down to the basement and shut off the return pump.

Better Luck next time!

Actually.. it is. Sigh.. I didn't hurt anything as I didn't have the pump running long enough to accomplish anything bad.. I will have everything switched by tomorrow evening and running right.

You will look back on this and laugh! But... just not... for a few weeks.

I used to have a magnum 350 filter on a cichlid tank. These filters required a complete disconnect and reconnect for their monthly cleaning. After plumbing it in backwards for the third time in 4 months I just went at it with pink spray paint and marked the return

Great news Roninson, Maybe you will learn from this and plumb one thing at a time next time lol. We need photos, lots of photos.

As soon as I get the canopy done, photos will be coming! I know that my workmanship isn't anywhere near your quality. So I am cheating and only showing the finished product!

Hey I am just lucky enough to have a ton of time on my hands and don't have to rush. I bet you do quality work also!
