There are 7 prolific areas for blue tangs in south east Q and two of them are not well known,i found them while i was helping a commercial collector in the club years ago,i didnt even tell him exactly where i go to get them.
I found them in two spots as i went off on snorkel to have a muck around after i had used up two tanks this one day and he was still down on hookah,there they were in 15 to 40 feet of water.
We as a club go out there from time to time and i know one other commercial guy knows where these extras are,but he can't realy access the area with hookah normally,so they are hard to collect there.
But not on snorkel.

Just look around out there from mid march,they are big enough to be seen from then on,where ever they are and sometimes,like last year,they are every where.
