Hi again,
I just tried to put in the thread on our March trips and it would not go in as it came up,to many images.

i put it in our club forum and tried to transfer a susual and it wouldn't do it,sorry for the hassle.

whats the process of catching those fish? Im assuming many of them are quite fast, esp the wrasse. do you use a drop net, barrier net, hand net?

We had two and a half trips down the seaway last month as each time we went to go out side the seas were up.

To catch some fishes.

If they have been chased by someone that has had very little experience, than they have been trained to avoid the nets and traps, than it becomes very hard and they are the fish that if not eaten by others,they are the adults that you see year after year, until predated on or heavy rains and low salinity kills them.

Each fish and invert species has its way of avoiding capture and they are always the same, as I was showing one of the clubbies a few weeks back, I got him to catch something I pointed out and he nearly killed it trying to get it, so I said we will wait a minute or two so the creature relaxes and than I got him to watch that it does what it is supposed to do as I got it carefully as to lull it into a false sense of security and brought it up just sitting in my hand, once they have been badly chased, they are the ones you have to trick or wear out.

Slow, carefully, learn and know what it is going to do before they do it, or with some species,wear them out or direct them to the right catching spot and you normally don’t fail.

The last time we went he caught three and a fish straight away and no damage to them.
