Am I making an *** of myself by saying so? Where do they get these fish from. Looks like a yellow mutation, so Hawaii I guess. For all the mutations I have seen pics of this one is really good looking. If you buy him please share. You can't go wrong with phissy's fish! Tim

Saw this guy in person over the weekend. Really good-sized fish, and very fat and healthy-looking. And obviously, unique.

There have been a couple of these comming out of Hawaii. I don't think it is a mutation. Maybe just a lack of yellow pigments.

LiveAquaria had a couple 6 months ago. I remember one of the LFS in CT had one too and it was fugly. I think the LFS wanted $5k, but they are on crack...Came from HI too.

I haven't seen any nice looking ones like this. Live Aquaria's fish was not lacking yellow pigment but had other dark colors and looked mottled/calico. This one in this thread is the coolest looking color aberation I have seen on a zebrasoma. Live Aquaria auctioned one off at their frag swap last June (not cute like this one) and they told me they thought they were cross breeds.
