Yeah man, anyone who's been before knows it's quite the shindig. Great grub and "refreshments". Awesome deals. Great catching up with folks, and great local frags.

I'm bummin because I don't think my tank will even be here yet. I May load up and store with them out back or something. I can't be waiting around for another whole year.
 
I plan on being there as well. Been several years since I attended their swap. I'll be on the look out for more SPS for sure!
 
I'll be there, what vendors will be? And will the vendors be buying/swapping corals with folks? I didn't see any of that going on at the last swap I was at.

They do a lot with Reef Gen, I think they are in Long Island. Cool aquaculture stuff. Usually a sale there. There's a few local guys that always bring up killer stuff from Rochester, Binghamton, albany. I would check with ABC as time gets closer. See who's signed up.

Obviously, there's a benefit to the hosting store, but I will say, it's a great scene. Food, refreshments. Family friendly. Lots of deals to be had. Some swaps seem to lose the spirit of it all. It's less about money for ABC. Dudes just like to party.

When I used to do a lot of fragging, sure, money was a motivator, but people used to get huge frags for a fraction of retail. I'd bundle and cut deals. When guys want retail for hobbiest frags, I'll admit, that does ruin it a little for me. I just move on to the next tank.
 
I have a few corals and a Nem I would like to trade for. Would this be a good thread to post pictures up to prearrange some coral swapping or buying ahead of time with other members coming?

Those guys lose out. No one buys their stuff. Frag swaps are supposed to be all about crazy good deals. Most vendors/hobbyists seem to get that.

The ABC one is is always good. The Fish Finatics one a few weeks back was pretty good too. They had a vendor called Cherry Corals with crazy stuff.

Looking to trade another Anemone that split from my original. Primarily looking for Millepora Acropora. But have a ton of space for others. Let me know and I can bring it to the swap when I come.

This will be my first swap I havent set up for in years. I will def be coming and getting some goodies for once though. If anyone is trying to set up and needs a frag swap display tank I have one no longer in use for sale.
 
Both of my Anemone's have been spoken for. See everyone at the swap!

Prose bring lots of SPS Millie's that we texted about!
