? about bulbs

My 12 gal nano has 2 27w pc bulbs. I have been looking for bulbs and i don't find 27w. I have found 24w and 32w. I have about 3 to 4 in of open space at the end of the bulb. I don't know anything about the ballist. Do you think the 32w will work? Thanks for any help Ricky.
