Ever since i bought that LR from that dude who moved to mexico my tank has been nothing but a mess. He had like an 8" sand bed so basically the rock i got from him just keeps leeching crap. I think i am going to bust off all the coral and cook all my rock. I am tired of sucking up huge piles of crap every week and picking algae for an hour every day.

Just when i think i am beating the algae it grows back twice as thick. Atleast now it is just growing in patches, it was looking like a jungle for a while.

Cook the heck out of it. It will be good as new. It sucks you will have to take it down.

Bring it over, two rocks at a time. My tang will help you out and Matt's two in the sump are always hungry too, although I don't know if they eat algae.

Nope, thats the next thing i am going to add....i really just need a new sump. I think i am going to call regal plastics tommorow and see how much the acrylic will cost to build it. I think if i get the algae growing somewhere else there wont be enough nutrients for it to grow in my display.

After the electridity went off for 5 days at the school, I lost everything in my 2 tanks. I took the 50lbs of live rock from one tank to the lockeroom and power washed the rock. Does a great job on Aiptasia and all that algae. It takes 15 minutes and the rock is back in the tank and looks great. Just a short cut.

LOL.....yeah Jeremy IS that rock WE made done curing?......Just kidding man, I have a few peices in my tank but there small, I think the other stuff needs awhile yet but since the dogs ate all my test kits I can't tell ya where the PH is.

I just took some rocks over to my moms, her tang tears algae up....i think mine would rather starve than eat it.

I really need a bigger sump so i can get to my skimmer, i think my needlewheel needs to be cleaned, but getting the pump out is gonna be a major PIA. I think that a refugium and getting some new props for my mj mods will definetly help my tank out.

Tommorow im gonna go get some super glue so i can remount all the frags i busted off the rocks. MAybe some new frags will make things better.....

You have like 20 tanks at your house.......and no kids......put a tank next to the stand so you can get to everything, might as well make it easy to work with til you move it downstairs.
