That sounds like fun....i think ill do that. Ill just build a little stand next to my tank for a 20 gallon or something and use that for my sump them plumb it to the sump into the stand which will be the refugium.....

I had a major problem with algae until I upgraded my skimmer and added a phosban reactor. A nice refugium can't hurt either.

I think this is the best way to be algae free. It might take time but you won't have to tear down your setup. Just replace the GFO more than usual and make sure the RO water is good. Keep up on water parameters and it will be removed as it leaches out of rock.

Same here - Hung was out last Sunday but I may see if he has any today.

I've had two in the past that didn't seem to care for bubble algae...we'll see!

He has a few in North Liberty (picked 2 up last night) as he went to Chicago last weekend (has quite a bit of stock (fish) already). Doesn't have any in Coralville.
