Well, I've had my 2 tigers for a little over a month now. One's ~2" and the other's ~2.5". They've been pretty usual w/ their behavior. They'll clean their burrows out around the same time in the morning, and stick their antennae out of their hole waiting for their food at around the same time each night.
Last night I got up in the middle of the night so I used a new flashlight I bought w/ a red LED, white LED, and regular bulb. I turned on the red LED and looked in the tank to see what curious stuff I could find. Low and behold the smaller of the two pistols is on the other side of the tank from its burrow, and seemed to be doing laps and checking things out. This didn't really alarm me. But today, in the middle of the afternoon, its doing the same thing. Basically pacing from side to side, fluttering up the corners here and there acting weird. The other one is doing the same thing it does every day. Water params are in check but I'm having a bit of a cyano outbreak.
The only thing I can think of that's different lately is I went from 4x24t5's to 4x39's and the fact that I used the flash light last night. Anyone have any ideas? I fed it this afternoon thinking maybe it was starving looking for food so we'll see if that calms it down. But I didn't know if it was something else. There aren't any gobies right now, they died during the tank move unfortunately.
