about to move angles from qt to main . question

my 55 will now be empty what would you do to keep it cycled till I figure out what fish I want next .I have 2 hob filters. but I will shut down the skimmer .

I would just through some fish food in every few days. I have a cycled QT that I keep up and running and I put in flakes, pellets, or mysis.
