Just getting into Acans. Would you consider these Ultra?

Your pictures are really nice... But I would not consider them Ultra for maybe the last one.

1st, you have a really nice camera/lens... Can you share the secret!
I just bought a 17-70 Macro lens and I cannot get these nice pix!

Ultra are intense colors examples:

I just bought a 17-70 Macro lens and I cannot get these nice pix!

I use a tripod, remote shutter release, set my ISO to 800, set my aperture to achieve desired DOF, compose, and take the shot. All shots are always shot straight on to the glass. Move the coral if you don't like the composition. If you don't have a remote shutter release use your cameras timer. Turn off pumps if your coral shows any movement.

Exceedingly Beautiful! Yow! Also, love the Mystery Wrasse. I wish my Cherub angel wouldn't try to kill everything I add to the tank, these are too expensive to risk it.
Those Scolys are sublime. I saw some today, but don't have the funds for them.

Thanks Sheol.....The Mystery Wrasse has been in the tank for 2 years with no problems. Im holding out for 2 more crazy scolys.

I think I just had it real close to my display tank front panel. I do use extension tubes as well. I have 2 - 25MM tubes that I occasionally stack.
