Acan Maxima ! or ?

Got this at my lfs, Coral Reef Farm yesterday. The second i saw it i thought it was acan Maxima. I'm familiar with the debate going on about maxima's but i believe these are the real deal.

My camera stinks so it may be hard to id but what do you think? If not Maxima, any ideas what it may be?

I tried to get a pic of the skeleton yesterday but it was weird. Getting it home, acclimating it, dipping it and putting it in the tank, the polyps stayed pretty fat and couldn;t really see the skeleton. I didn't want to stress it to get a pic of the skeleton so i skipped trying to see the skeleton.

Looks like maybe an acan bowerbanki, or maybe one of the lobos coming in lately. Got any top down pics?

Might be Bowerbanki.
They get mislabeled as Maximas sometimes.

Here is one of mine for reference.

That does look very similar airinhere. Are your's Maxima or Bowerbanki's?

I would say that they are definitely not lobo's but Bowerbanki is a possibility. Either way, they are so nice, i am GIDDY!!!

I am SOOOO happy that Coral Reef Farm is right down the road from me. If i had a bigger tank, i would go broke in there, no doubt.

I can't get a top down until my halides go off, they make a wicked glare! I'll try to get some better pictures once the sun goes down. My house is bright during the day and makes it kind of hard to get pics.

All the pics are of Bowerbanki Acans. I have two really nice colonies. One has the same color pattern as yours. Sadly, It fell over onto the sand when I first got it, and I lost the middle couple of polyps. It recovered nicely, but will take a while to regrow the lost polyps.

I feed mine daily with shredded Halibut and Salmon (scraps from dinner) Just put the leftover pieces into a cuisinart, puree and then baste with a turkey baster.

I could have gotten lots of regular acans for what I paid on these Bowerbankis, but I hate to have the same thing as everyone else, and I found these and the Hillae acans were awesome looking, pretty rare and tough as nails. I love them.
