i had all my acans on one rock and it F ing fell over while i was away the last couple days so far i have lost 3 polyps of my rainbows and 12 polyps of green and purple and some other stuff is not looking so good i am really ****ed off

Don't blame the turbo snail for doing what's natural...............blame the reefer that put the acans on the rock w/o securing them................

i am taking them out what snails do you have? one of the corals was that nice piece that i got from you at the MASVC swap it grew to around 25 polyps and i have lost 4 in this incadent

my tank has over 100 turbos, in a 225gal mounted sps dominated tank.
turbos snails = clean reef

it would be impossoble to eradicate the snails without doing an Interceptor treatment because they are spawaning so i worked all day and built a frag tank to put the easy to knock over stuff in.

which is better than a nasty algae or a bunch of stupid crabs any day .Couple of things to think about
1. If your tank is bare bottom then sipon it out along with other ditritus.
2.if you have reef grade gravel, do a light vacum on it ,this is what I have suscess with ,also things that live in your sand bed would eat this ,at least I think they would .
Just stating what has always worked for me ,although this may not be true for all

When turbo snails clean up your tank, you think they are great. But when they knock the coral on the way while they are cleaning, you put them to death/punishment? Why is that?
