I thought that those who sell at frag swaps may like this. It is a credit card scanner for your smart phone. It is free to obtain, and they only charge 2.75% per transaction.

I own a tent rental business where most of the customers call in their credit card information. We manually enter the info. This costs us alot more with the bigger dollar amounts. That is a good rate and the guys in the field could scan the customers cards. Cool. Thanks.

Got it and it works pretty well! Actually got it with frag swaps in mind.... May not have to use it much but it doesn't cost anything if you don't use it.

The downside for a business is they hold a certain percentage of each transaction once you go over $1,000 in a single month. The website says to call to have it raised. They want to hold the money in case of a dispute of charge or cancelled transaction.

Was in the middle of the "sign up" process.. had to step away from the PC... and when I came back... I had timed out... so you get "locked out" until some one from support can help you.

Moral of the story: If your going to go thru the sign up process... do not stop in the middle

I have this and think it is an awesome idea. Obviously there are people out there who can't be trusted... However, I have yet to hear of anyone having problems with this.

Cool device, thanks for sharing. Using an electronic payment, you will have to keep in account sales tax i would guess
