In answer to your question, ABSOLUTELY not acceptable. Full refund should be in order whether he is a biz or not.

In fact, that is SO FAR from acceptable...I'm speechless!

Well, after a few choice words, he did agree to refund our money. Someone else we know bought from him too and his were alot worse.

I just wonder where he got the idea to ship them in an envelope!? Priceless.

It's a noob mistake, nothing that can't be rectified. And since he is refunding the money, do not reveal his name.

Maybe send him some tips on how to properly ship.

Actually, like I said, he did make good on it and explained that he was trying to ship that way to save ppl money. Understandable. I just saw on a post of his, he updated his list and changed the shipping methods to exclude priority and add ice...All said, we'd give him another try. I would not reveal his name.

humm, I think it's time for a frag & bag tutorial.

There are so many ways to ship, but there's the right and wrong way. Plus all of the variables, like time of year, the ship from to addresses, type of shipping and when you should place multiple frags in one bag.

I am not the "guru" when it comes to shipping, but I do know what methods work better then others.

For instance, a few people recently sent frags via the "dry" shipping method. I had an 80% success rate with that with 2nd day shipping. Then I had someone send me frags via 2nd day shipping in water and they all died.

I have had the best success with overnight well packed bags in an insulated container. With an Ice pack in the summer and heat in the winter. The shipping was $45-$50, but everything sent lived and was as healthy.

Thermos shipping is one of the best ways to ship if you cannot afford an expensive styrofoam sealed container.

Maybe it's time for zoaid to put out a shipping guide?
