Acclimating Snails

Snails are pretty hardy. Place the bag in the water, allow temperatures to adjust (about 20 minutes) and over the course of another 20 minutes, slowly add some of your water to the bag their in. Then pour out the water (not the snails) into something OTHER than your aquarium, and add the snails.

I've never heard of finnicky snails, so what I suggest might even be overboard.

I put mine on the twards the top on the glass to the point where they aren't touching the water let and let then acclimate themself into the tank.

Yeah, dropping them in, they'll be fine I imagine. I'm not saying my way IS the only way and if you do otherwise I'll get my moderator friend to ban you and then come and find you and yell at you and then I'll... Well, I'll do something bad!

Do what works. Lovely thing about ReefCentral is the plethora of opinions and in the end, you get to choose for yourself. :D

Well I tried the glass acclimation thing with 4 snails 2 seem fine and 2 are kinda hanging out on my mag0float thingee in their shell.
