Acclimation Procedure for Online Purchase

Hi All,

I just bought a pack of zoas online from another RC member. Was wonder what's the best way to acclimate my zoas? I've heard not to drip acclimate and just toss them into the tank since the water they've been sitting in probably has been dirtied with slime and such. This pack was the most costly thing I've purchased (non-equipment) so far so I want to get it right.

I just drip acclimate them with some of my tank water till it equals the level of the water it came in with. Then drop some TMPCC to it, swirl the TMPCC/Lugols in with the zoo to get rid of any pest. Then check for nudi eggs/spiders... I leave them for 10-15mins depending on the strength of dip I use. ( TMPCC is the same as LUGOLS dip but better ) swish em in another bowl of clean tank water then place them in the bottom of tank with a little shade till they acclimate to the lighting scheme. You also must have decent to good flow but not battering them. Every week slowly move them higher in the tank to more light and flow. ( roughly 5" or so of movement up the tank, maybe less or more, The zoo will tell you how happy it is. )
