Acclimation Question

Hi all,
I've got an acclimation question for you. I am fairly new to SPS, but I know that I should always start my corals out low and move them up into the light so they get cozy slowly.

The frags I am buys are coming from a guy who uses a 250w 14k MH setup, I use a 36x-3W led fixture. Do I need to do additional acclimation procedures/steps; or somehow shade the frag additionally? I know that sudden changes to LED can cause shock to the acropora/milllipora.

My tank is a 40 breeder with a 10 gal fuge. Right now is about 70% LPS, 20% SPS, and 10% soft.
I have my light about 16in. above the water lvl as the fixture's lens cause spot lighting (hopefully gonna mod that soon, plus change out some leds if I can, I don't like the color mix).

Thank you!:spin1:

It won't hurt to place them faily low. I burned sps corals under the 1 watt LED's comming from 250watt. So i would still be carefull.
