I have 2 5g buckets with drip lines ready, and a halloween candy tub for a FW dip if needed will this be enough for a smaller part 2 (the 25gal size)?

If you can get 2 or 3 car wash sized buckets (no soap used in them), it will be really helpful to sort stuff out in. Containers that can hold rock and stuff that are not wide and shallow are nice because they can cover the object in water without having to add a whole bunch of extra water. Even mixing bowls, tupperware etc. are great to kind of stage stuff in while you are unwrapping your presents and deciding where everything goes. You cannot have too many containers in different shapes and sizes. Beg, borrow, steal (not recommended). Have fun.

Don't FW dip anything unless it is a last last last resort. You are better off taking the rock out and jabbing a skewer into it to remove unwanteds than the damage FW can do.

Best way is to float the bags for an hour in your tank...then ..open and 1/4 water cup every 15 min...for an hour.,..then pour through net..discard water.....do not use the bag water...in your tank...add stuff!

all will be happy!

By the way Richard if nobody has told you lately you are certifiably nuts.....in a good way. There is SO MUCH STUFF!!!!!!!!! There is absolutely no way I was going to come close to fitting all the rock in but lucky for me I had a friend setting up a new tank 2 blocks away that didn't mind a phone call at midnight. He ended up walking out the door shaking his head thinking I was nuts to give away 4 gorgeous rocks, 1 with a nice coral on it, and all kinds of macro's as well as a bunch of gorgonian chunks because I had to cut them down by 1/2 to even fit inside my tank! It's 2am and I am STILL trying to find room for all the stuff and the rocks I just had to keep, I have been at this for 5 hours now...

Everything aclimated pretty easy 2X 5g buckets,2X 1gal pitchers, and a halloween candy bowl. Gorgs all have polyps out, sponges are ok but the tall branching one might have some dead spots because the bag somehow got popped/leaked, 3 corals have polyps out, and the fish went into hiding, hermits are running around like kids with too much sugar.

No idea how to thank you enough.
