acclimation time

I picked up a gbta from someone that had the gbta in a aquapod with stock lighting,he said he had it for a month or two.My lighting is 250W 14k my pendant is about 10" off the water. How long until i should give it more light?

Just start it out toward the bottom the the tank and all will be fine b4 you know it it will be reaching for some rays!

I would say that anemones are a bit different from corals because they can move away from excessively birght light if they don't like it.
