Acclimatization best practices

I'm getting a Malu Seabae nem this week. I've done yet more reasearch and found that folks were at one time reporting good results with doxycycline treatment upon arrival. 50mg in 5 gal bucket. Change water after a few hours, another treatment. Introduce to tank.

For a malu is this still recommended? The nem faq didn't mention this.

And for the lighting: I have 250 watt mh non dimmable and 2x actinic bulbs. Would the best light acclimatization method be to cut both light cycles down to say 3 hrs for actinic and 1 hr mh for a couple days then bring cycle up over the course of a couple weeks? I do t want to do the screen thing. Seems it might get too hot in my hood.

Send this in a PM to member OrionN I'm sure he will be able to answer your question. He might actually find this post but to be sure I'd PM him.
