Achilles tang question

So i'm extremely excited and confused at the same time, i've had my achilles for 2 months+ now and i haven't had any real problems with it, but it now has it's teardrop growing in! The weird thing is, the teardrop isn't growing in the same color as it's fins, it's a brighter orange.

you mean the tear drop in the back? that sounds normal if it is Im looking at mine right now and that is how he has it.

2-3 inches

my 4.25" AT tear drop is a hint lighter orange than on its tail.
