Achilles Tang with Sailfin Tang

I have been reading up about the Achilles tang and most say expert only and cant be kept with other tangs. Have anybody here successfully kept an achilles with other tangs long term?

I have an achilles in an 8ft tank and it moves around like crazy. I would say the 4' tank is way too small for an achilles.

yes i know, we are building a house and am planning for my next tank, my 120 is maxed out with a salfin and wll not add any more tangs in it, new tank is scheduled to be 144x36x48 or 120x36x48 depending on utility room size, so plenty of room for swimming. I was also considering a black and a sohol as well as a few others, ive just read that the achilles is very aggressive

my goal is
current sailfin
yellow
achilles
black
sohol
purple
blue

I'll let others chime in on the lineup...but wanted to make a suggestion. IF POSSIBLE, I think you'd love the tank more if you switch the width and height. In other words, 144x48x36. Actually, even 36 is insanely high...I'd do 144x48x30 max. I have a hard time cleaning my 30" tall, I can't even imagine a 48" tall tank. lol If space for width is a limiting factor, do 144x36x30. Yes you're cutting down the 'gallonage' but it will be much more manageable and most fish swim left to right anyway, not so much with the up and down. (unless you're going to keep 4,000 seahorses)

the plan was 36" deep ith a 24" step on the front 3' , basically a peninsula with a 2' step on the fron making it 5' deep with roundd corners, almost like a bullnose but not that dramatic, formed 2" acrylic is crazy expensive, about $10k just for the front bullnose panel. I want to do the step to have a large tall rock structure on the end of the tank being the "centerpiece" of the room

If you think an achilles is aggressive, a sohal is in a completely different league of aggrression. I hope the 48 inches is deep not high.
