ACIII email help

I have just about got everything setup and working well with my
ACIII, the only thing i haven't figured out is the email function on it. to email me if there are alarms. i have spent alot of time on the neptune forum with out any success, i am probably doing something stupid. makes me ashamed to work in IT. just curious if some one local would have any ideas. FYI my home is always open and happy to trade help for adult beverages and food

Do not feel ashamed. I am in IT and I never fail to amaze myself with my own stupidity. We often forget that sometimes the stupid end user is ourself.

thanks, i have started from scratch three times now and this is killing me, ooh well maybe one night into a good drink i will have an epiphany. has any one here got there AC to email them?

I have. You cant use gmail however. Shoot me a pm with what you have done so far.

FWIW, you can't use gmail because it requires SSL authentication, which is next to impossible to do in an embedded environment.

Check out GMX. I used it to setup an account for my RKE and it works great!
