I just picked up a new one yesterday. The temp sensor is a little different from my old one. Can anybody tell me if that rubber cap on the end of it needs to be removed? Or does it stay on it? Seems like it is on there pretty good and isn't supposed to be removed....

Don't take it off it's not a cap, its just a bigger temp sensor. They actually seem to work better.... The older small sensors were having some issues.
