Aclimating new anem to lighting

I picked up a green gigantea today. I have two vho 160 watt atinics. Should I leeve them on for a few days. The other lighting are three 400 watt mh. What photo period should I use. Please add hours for actinics per day. Also how many hours mh per day to start.

What lights was it under?

I prefer using window screening to shade, as opposed to shortening the photo-period. I start off with 3 layers, and remove layer each week.
