Acreichthys tomentosus experience

Anybody keep one that didn't touch majano/aiptasia? I have a juvenile in a mixed reef, and isn't interested in any corals, or pest anemones.

IME, if the filefish are too well fed or the appies are too large, they're less apt to eat them.

I also think that they are only interested in nems whilst juvi's, as they mature their taste become more varied and include corals. That's the experience of friends ones anyway.

I've kept three and all of them destroyed aiptasia. I currently keep one in my display and one in my refugium to control aiptasia.

Since this is a maintenance account, I was really hoping he would chow down on the majano, instead of the current once-a-week kalk pastings. The tank is aiptasia-free, but I am getting tired of manual removal of the majanos.
