FWIW, the white parts look dead, not bleached. Bleached corals have tissue with little to no color. I believe there to be an absence of flesh in your pics. No flesh leaves the white skeleton exposed, at least until green algae starts to grow on it.

If its pure white it's dead not bleached and I'm assuming you mean phosphate remover on and off??

Running it lower like scares me compared to it being high.

Why? Most of our hobby tests phosphate at zero an the most beautiful sps tests are ulns which has no phosphate

I'm sorry, yes I turn the phosphate remover on and off about every other week.

Those tanks also have 7 bottles they dose each day so their sps don't stn and die.

I sat in on a talk where rich from the steinhart was talking sps and phosphate. His phosphate level was 2.02 and higher with fantastic colors and even crazier growth. I don't worry about po4
