Acro dieing from a Majano sting?

I have one of four of my acros dieing and I cant figure out why. All parameters are great, did 30% water change anyways just in case 3 days ago. It started dieing from the base up and gets worse everyday. I did notice a majano by the base where it started dieing off. Its still dieing even with a water change.
My question is could the majano have caused its complete destruction?
I'm about to purchase several more acros and need to make sure its not somthing I'm missing. none of the other acros have show any signs of distress. I have also bought joes juice and killed off all majanos and aiptasia I have seen.

i have 2 majanos and they killed 4 polyps of my candy cane, so i moved it and put some zoos in place of the candy cane and they are kicking the crap out of the majanos... i think they could do some damage to an acro... but thats my .02
