Acro ID, please.

I have heard this one id'ed orginally as ac. cerealis. I don't think so. THen as valida. I'm coming to doubt that.

Can someone figure this one? It's deep purple, white polyps, and very straight in most of its configuration.

Well, that's one of the two id's I've been given, but somebody else in RC showed a valida with much fatter polyp heads, much knottier, that looked to me like chesterfieldiensis, and that made me wonder. I've always said 'valida'. But it sure doesn't look like the other one. Maybe we're right, and it is valida, and the other is wrong.
