Acro Tenuis Suggestions

That was around 5pm if I remember correctly with full lights on. Lights were on since 11am. My tenuis always looks like that 24/7 unless I touch it to trim it back.

I have the same piece, but a smaller frag and its polyps are always extended as those are. Its very nice and love the blue hints to it, can't wait til it gets the size of yours.

I checked the past few nights to see if there as any PE with the lights off and I did not see any when I checked. Just waiting waiting waiting.

Here is a close up

For flow I have one vortech which is giving really good flow. All of my levels are in check, but I did move him around a good bit up until about one week ago. He also had a coral beauty nipping very hard, but the Coral Beauty was removed about a week ago as well.

It should do better without the angel in there to nip at it. Not moving it should help too ;) With only 1 vortech in a 120 are you sure it's not getting too much flow? When I had only 1 vortech I had to be careful not to have corals too close to the pump. I've since gotten another vortech and they're both running at about 60%. The corals have responded well to the more random flow.

I may need to turn my vortech down a bit, but this is on the opposite side of the tank. It is running full 100% right now so I will back it down to about 80% and see if that helps.

Just turned my vortech down before coming to work hope this helps out. But any more suggestions on the type of Acro this can be? It was sold to me from lfs as a tenuis.

What about the rest?

Nitrate, Phosphate, Salinity, Temp?
My parameters are pretty close to yours but i get very little PE as well, I believe it's do to my nitrates being so high. I did my second 20% WC last nite (normally do 10%) and my tenius specifically started to show signs of pe ..

Everything else has PE. I have a total of 10 acros and this is the only one without PE. My temp stays between 77 to 79 and I change 15 gallons every two weeks. Salinity 1.026. Need to check Nitrates later on today.

Well this acro has totally turned white in about 2 days with still no PE. Does this mean that it is a total lost?
