acropora advice (bleaching/color loss after shipping)

I purchased a acropora colony a few days ago, and it has experienced some stress due to shipping which is evident due to the fact that it had lost most of its color, the coral seems healthy and the tissue looks good, there is also good polyp extension at night and in the morning. it seems to have lost most of its zooxanthellae, however there is some brown on the tips of the coral. i have had lps corals bleach due to high lighting and i have noticed that once they start to recover the tissue goes from being white to light brown, then brown and finally its normal color, is this the same case with sps and acropora?

how long should it take for it to brown up and start getting some color back?

any tips or advice are appreciated?

also i should mention that i is currently under moderate lighting untill it starts to color up< also i think it is some type of acropora valida tricolor

uuuuum... im talking about this

there is a difference in between a coral with low pigment vs a dead one, true bleaching just means that the corals has lost some zooxanthellae, however its tissue is healthy

It's the same with Sps...........the brown phase can take weeks to months. There's no set time table.
