Acropora and Ricordea Compatability

Can I keep Acropora and Ricordea Florida near one another without a problem? I have quite a few Ricordea taking up space on the bottom rocks and substrate of the tank. I want to put one of my acro and a birdsnest about 3-6 inches away from them up on the rockwork. Is this a bad idea? These are two new frags I will be putting in the tank.

Should not be a problem as long as they do not touch. If they do, the ricordea will damage the tissue of the acropora.
