Acropora suharsonoi

I have. It began to rtn which I think was a result of revive. However it has stopped rtn’g and began to grow back but hasn’t colored back to it’s old self (my parameters were outta wack).. The frags I gave out look very good in hi and low light.

ooohhhh, just saying the name make my mouth water up.

You have to be a sps nut to like these guys but almost every acroholic has this piece at the top of their wish list.

The name just brings up memories. I had a large colony of it. In October I went to aruba for a week and my display tank crash. Lost this colony and a large colony of an ice enchinata. Made me sick.

Can't say Ive seen a lot of this coral....pics?

Ive seen some...but none that have really impressed me so far....maybe im not finding the right ones.

It is the growth and what it looks like when it is happy. The way the polyp extends from the skeleton is like a ground hog on ground hog's day.

Here's a picture of mine when I just acquired it. It look a bit better and the tip is bluish =)

Interestingly I fragged a 1" piece, less than 2 weeks later it start to encrust and the side exposed to the light seem to "glow" the color is just intense light blue, look better than the mother!

Is mine one of these? Does anybody have a pic of a colony not close up? Just curious to see what it's supposed to look all grown up.
