Acropower

I ordered a bottle of Acropower to give it a shot and noticed I didn't find to many reviews of this product within the last few months or really year. Most where from 2013 or 14. It seems there are way more good than bad but I would like to ask if anyone has used it long term and has any feedback? I am going to try it regardless but wanted to know if people actually have good feedback?

I've been using it for about 2 months and can honestly say I haven't seen any major changes, good or bad. I would like to be able to dose it via my doser, but being it needs to be shaken prior to dosing, it's not really possible. There is a German doser that stirs the containers the supplements are in, which would be awesome, but I don't own that unit.

I used it for awhile and didn't notice either good or bad. Supplements are in the category of snake oil for me.

Been using a couple years. I can strip the water at times with my biopellets, fuge, gfo, and skimmer, so aminos are great for me.

I dose over night via a brs 1.1ml doser on my apex.

Iphone pics, but you get the idea..

I've been using it religously for the past 21 months. Ever since I add my acro starts.

This is now. It is the only thing I dose besides a few drops of Lugals every w/c

I have been using it for about 18 months. I think it has definitely added to the health of the corals. I have recommended it to probably a dozen people, and all have had good responses from their corals from using it.

I know of one person that had cyano issues when they started dosing, but they were changing so many variables on the tank, I wouldn't say it was the result of Acro power

Amazing Tank, I follow it since its beginning by facebook!
Relative to Acropower, what is the dosage regimen?

Is acropower amino acids? I have found that all of the SPS I have had keep the strong coloration when I dose amino acids. Using Aquavitro Fuel right now. Going to start using Aquaforest CoralA, CoralV, and Coral Food on daily staggered schedule with the Fuel starting tomorrow.

I tried Brightwell's Amino with no noticeable difference. I am 2 weeks into Aquavitro and have seen a great improvement in color and growth. I'm going to run this for a few months to see the results. But after seeing the two awesome tanks from Poland, maybe I will be giving Aquaforest products a try.

Keep in mind aminos are most beneficial for those systems with lower nutrients. For the best colors, I try to maintain Alk around 8, keep po4 and no3 stripped, and supplement with the aminos. This is an effective way to keep the zoox algae numbers low within the corals which as we know are brown. If you have brown corals and dose aminos, you will not see much good as you need to tackle the nutrient problem first.

I'm currently using KZ aminos, I'm almost out and due to the price difference, I'm definitely switching to Acropower. I assume it's less concentrated than KZs, so I'm considering buying an old used magnetic stirrer and a dosing pump.
What ml would you guys start a 75gal mediumish stocked reef?

I'm doing about 12ml a night in a heavy stocked 105/29/10 system with a 55g sump. Just watch your glass for the green dust and go from there. I like to see the dust every two-three days.
