I'm sure there is a tread somewhere for this, but I cant seem to get the search function to work ( browser issue?). Can someone point me to a actinic or blue LED photography tutorial?

Thanks in advance

I have read a few articles online, as well as a couple threads that are scattered throughout this forum... BUT i will say it's definitely an artform shooting under such intense blue spectrum.. I know it's easier just to fix it all using Photoshop or another image editing program. I will see what i can find for you.

thanks 0k., any help would be appreciated.

Oh, if theses no way to take these pics in-camera, and I don't have a choice to but to use photoshop to fix it; I can prolly figure it out. I'm looking more for an in-camera solution. I find that color temps only go as high as 10k on most SLR.

The easiest and most accurate way to handle shooting in high color temperature lighting is to shoot in RAW mode and set the white balance / color temperature while post processing.

I actually used the auto white balance on my Nikon D60 -- but I was just screwing around. I did use the shutter priority setting on it. Granted I was taking a picture of a Haddoni, so it wasn't really moving around.

This was just the blue moon lights, the shutter speed was 1.3 seconds. Wasn't too happy with this one,

But, this one, with blue blue and white moonlights, with a shutter of 2 seconds is better, at least IMO.
