ADA cube garden 75-P

Thanks Jimmy. That guy is out most of the time front and center. It eats brine, frozen and freeze dried.

are you kidding me??? you put a bubble magnus on a ADA??? thats like a VW engine in a Porsche.

Thanks Ted.

I was gonna put an ATB on it but the way things worked out I'm quite pleased with the way the BM has performed.

lol, yeah jimmy's pretty busy, he got his practice up and running so he's got his hands full. And I havent been looking on the boards to often also busy. But your Tank is looking good, and thanks for the info on the fathead, I was told they always hide, and seeing yours out in the photo kind of made me wonder. And you didn't mention but does it eat pellets and flakes?? And where did you get it?? I don't see them for sale quite often.
And I am impressed with the skimmate you got there, it looks like it skims more than my octo ex skimmer. How often do you feed and what do you feed?
And how are them zoanthids lol?? I pretty much lost all mine they keep melting on me.
The next time I see you I'll bring you a frag of the nuclear candy cane.

I feed frozen and freeze dried brine about every other day. Haven't tried pellets. I got it at Ultimate Aquarium in San Mateo.

Zoanthids are doing well for some reason, much better than in the other tank.
I'd love to get a piece of the candy cane.

See ya,
Ben

That's funny lol, ever since I swapped tanks from my 45 odyssea bow tank with hang on skimmer to my new ADA tank with sump/ skimmer, I've been having problems keeping zoanthids. They actually seem really hard to keep.

Oh man that's a big difference, it looks better with the new bulb setting. And that sand bed looks pretty crowded. And whers the dendrophillia?

Hmm forgot to ask how many fishes do you have right now?? Oh and how are those darthmaul zoas doing?

I've always thought they're tough to keep.
They're bigger and look better in this tank.
You have any nuisance algae?
Maybe the tank is too clean.

Ben,

Man that icefire looks NICE! Please let me know if you have frags down the line. I lost my icefire I picked up from Eric about 6 months ago. :(

What's up Tommy.
Tank is still going along. Just trying to keep things alive. How's your tank doing?
I'm gonna try to put some new pics up soon.

Glad to hear Ben, like always been busy these past months, my tank seems to be going down hill, I can't even keep the simpleist things alive anymore. No clue whats going on, zoas like the ones I got from you in the past just keep melting. They come and go, hoping I can save some in another tank. I'm also having a difficult time with acans and candy canes. They do fine at the start and than a few weeks later they start to close up and receede.

By the way does your skimmer pull alot of gunk out??? I thought my skimmer wasn't doing its job since it was too big and I got a swc cone in replacement and it still doesnt pull out that gunk I see in pics. Does your skimmer pull out gunk?? Trying to figure out whats going on.

I know before I upgraded to the ada tank, my old bow front was doing well, also wondering if my lights are the cause since they are t5's instead of halides.

Looking forward to seeing the updates.
