Add another 6100?

Just wondering if adding a third 6100 would be to much flow on a 180. Seems there are some dead spots and I thought there could be more options to select different currents with a third pump and the 7095.

I'm not sure what substrate you have, if any.... but in my BB 180 I have 3x6100 and 2x6200. I run them on pulse 100% - 40% @ 3 second intervals. I ran these on a BB 125 prior to my move to a 180 without any problems as well.

I would think even with sand you could run 4x6100 if setup properly and you didn't run them at 100%.

I agree with Mike but you won't really have more options on the controller with a third pump.
