Add another or wait ?

Ok i finally got a beautiful pair of Large tomatoes (hard to find big stock locally) after looking for months.

they've only been in QT (75 gal) for a few days and the Female killed the male.
not so much bit him to death(though she was biting him good),she just wouldn't stop chasing him and harassing him while he was already stressed.

by the time i got home and saw what was going on & threw him in the sump it was to late and he expired shortly after.

i used to have a pair so I'm aware of the aggressive behavior of these guys,... my question is should i try and get another small tomato while she's in qt or wait till she's in the display and then try to add another ?

I would get one now, but is there any chance you can put them in a smaller QT and separate them with eggcrate?

i could but that would mean cycling another tank as i already have 4 up & running. i just started treatment on the 75 and would prefer to keep them in there....rather than add another qt.
