I have a 57 gallon tank 36x18x20... the tank has a melanarus wrasse, yellow wrasse, and a line spot flasher wrasse... they all get along great and tank is very active and peaceful.... I desire to add one more wrasse, but wonder if it would upset things or if I even have the room... only non wrasse fish is a blenny....

I am specifically considering one of these:

Possum wrasse
another flasher wrasse (maybe another linespot? LA DD has a terminal male, would one turn female?) or maybe another type??
mystery wrasse

any thoughts on this?? or any of these that would work better...(or worse) thanks...

I feel you'd be fine with another, but not just any.

The possum is your best choice on that list, with another flasher being another possibility. Definitely no on the mystery however; avoid the Pseudocheilinus genus.

Thanks... the possum is actually my first choice.. the mystery caught my eye but I remember now to avoid them in smaller tanks...

Are the possum wrasses really as shy as some report?

Also if I went with another flasher would a different type (mckoskers?) Be best choice or another linespot be better? Thanks for the help

The Possum wrasse is not an open water swimming fish, it darts from rock work to rock work. If you want to have a fish to fill in this spaces, this is the fish.
