I recently added a RBTA for my lovely clowns Tarzan and Jane. He's hiding. I know where he is.. .but he won't come out its been 2 days... i can see him.. but i know he is not getting neough light or flow and where he is I can' t feed him. I'm worried.

i looked at him this morning and he seemed ok... not white... still showing red and looks ok. he has not moved though.

I just recently got one myself and it hid for a while (1 week) before it came out. I know it's kinda dissapointing to drop some change on something that hides for over a week but it'll come around. Now my RBTA is hosting a skunk and comes out every day. I wouldn't worry about too much unless it goes on for a few weeks. Even then, you can try to spot feed it with mysis or such to coax it out to ensure it's getting some nutrients. It's probably also stressed as well intially.

HTHs,

cool.. I was just scared.. Mine is tank raised and came from a fellow reefer. for its size I can easilly get over 100 dollars for it.. I have 2 clowns that have been trying to host everything from my kenya trees to one of my maxijets... its cute and funny actually.... I'm jsut trying to get the little guy out into the open and doing good so i can give him some food.

RBTA's can be finicky. You can manually place him where you want, but in time if he is not happy with the spot he will move. If you do not like where he is at, point a powerhead at him....too much flow will cause him to move as well. Couple tricks of the trade.
