Adding 2nd Clown - Question

Hi,

I've had a clown (ocellaris 3-4'') in a 30 gal nano for a year now and it has been hosting a colony of duncans for 5 months+

I'd like to add a 2nd very young clown (ocellaris).

My current clown is rather territorial over it's duncans so i'm worried it might not take well to the addition of another clown. From what i've read, this is the right approach in terms of adding a clown in hopes to pair them.

Can anyone shed personal experience on this? Good/Bad idea?

Thx!

With ocellaris I take a very technical approach to pairing.

1. Stand on the opposite side of the room and observe the original clown.
2. Try to make a three point shot with the new addition. If it makes it in, you're good.

hahahahahahahaha - point taken. pun intended.

if its a female and a little violent! add two juvies one bigger than the other, so she can divide the beat downs between the both of them!! She'll pair up with the bigger one, but get the 3rd one out as soon as they pair up cuz he'll get bullied by both or they might even try to kill the odd ball!! good luck.
