Adding a closed loop

What is the best way to add a closed loop system to a glass RR tank? Drilling I am sure is not really an option, it is up and running, but want to know if anyone has any tricks to set this up or if I should just add powerheads?

Don't do it! Go with powerheads.

It's really not hard to do...just hard plumb it over the top and have a way to prime the pump. I did it like this for about 6 years without a problem. I hate looking at powerheads and they are expensive. Oceans Motions products are good too and they have a very informative forum for closed loop info. You should be able to find pics of over the top closed loops.

something inexpensive is a SCWD, they work well in your condition. that you can run over the top.
