Adding a refuge to my system

Whats the best way to add a refuge to my system? I don't have the room in my sump to do it because of baffle locations. I was thinking of maybe a 10 gal one plumbed into my sump. If that would work, does someone have a pipe layout perhaps? Right now since my system is basically a few years old I have all the critters in the tank and I just recently added a mandarin and a small spotted mandarin. I want to keep up the live food as best as I can.
Thanks....

my 150 system has 2 - 1 1/2" drops to the sump and a Blue Line SD800 return pump.

I found the easiest way to plump a refugium into my system is to T off my return (or use a small pump) to feed the fuge and let the water gravity drain back to the sump. Plumbing is simple, T return line, one to the sump, one to the fuge (using a ball value so that most the flow goes to the sump). The a bulkhead in the fuge with a pipe draining back to the sump.

Using the drain is nice because it doesn't require an extra pump.

That is how I have seen it done. If you are not having heat issues you can use a separate pump from you sump into the refuge. That might give you a little better control, and fine tuning over the flow into the refuge. Then use 2 bulkheads ( one sump, other refuge ) with pipe to gravity drain the refuge at your desired height.
