adding anthias w/ one existing

I have one existing lyretail anthias which is the last remaining survivor from the original group of 4. I don't think I started with a large enough group because they took out one at a time until there was just one left.
My question is - can I add about 6 more now and have them co-exist as a group of 7?
Is there a minimum amount needed to form a group that will tolerate each other?

I think 7 or 8 should be fine. I'd make sure the new ones aren't near the old in size or you could have dominance battles to determine the male. The remaining one could show aggression to newcomers, you should probably rearrange the rock at least, or better yet put that one in your sump or something for a few days so the others get settled in then re-introduce him. -Ross
