Adding fish

I would like to add some blue green Chromis to keep the one I have happy. My question is how many can I add together? Also will the blue Chromis school with them? I have a 55 gallon with 2 maroons and a kole tang.

Yes they probably will school together, they do this for protection and to feel safe. How ever many you want in the end I would buy double that number since most chromis worldwide aren't surviving very well( less than 50%) if it were me I wouldn't get them. I had 25 chromis 8 months ago and have 11 left now. All died for no reason, no sign of disease

Thank you, very informative articles. Best was the compatibility chart. They are cheap enough that even if they die within a year, it would not be that horrible. Would be horrible to lose the fish as I get attached.
