Adding Live sand to established tank?

I have a small 20 gal long SPS/clam tank thats been set-up for approx 1 year. I have Marshal rock and aragonite sand with mostly Pacific origin creatures. I'm looking to "liven up" my sand bed and would like to know if TBS sand would be good to add. Maybe just a few pounds to add diversity to my tank.
