Adding male blackspot angel to a DT that already has a female blackspot?

I was wondering if there would be any aggression issues if I chose to do this? Both fish are the same size and the female has been in the tank (300 gallon 72x36x27) for approximately 2 months after QT. if this would be an issue could I pull the female from the DT and re QT her with the male?
